Whether you want to create Hollywood-style effects, create and sell online courses, build a video subscription business with OTT platforms, or just replacing that background for a home-movie, green screen video is a vital feature in video editing software. These are special tools that allow you to replace the background of the videos you’re shooting. And one of the best methods to do that is to use chroma-key or green screen software. With that kind of content volume, you’d want to make your videos stand out. Video is the most popular form of online content with more than 500 hours of video uploaded to YouTube every minute.

And always select the "Sequence" from the project window, or you might wind up rendering the titles only. I load the background for reference, then turn off the layer or remove it. It seems when I use a file exported by Matrox and put it directly in the project, the video runs at double speed, and the second half has no background. One other thing! It's best not to actually put the background video into the Graffiti project settings. It doesn't seem to take any longer, and I haven't had a failed render since. I now always go straight to exporting and let it render as it exports. I'll come back to export in the morning and something has "gone wrong" in the meantime. This especially happens after a long, maybe overnight render. One other tip.sometimes after you render a Graffiti project, you can't export it. Then, if necessary, I open a "final" Matrox project to do anything that needs to go "on top of" the Graffiti text. I export the movie, and then open a non-Matrox project to go the Graffiti work. I work in a Matrox project- usually up until it's almost completed. I tend to work by "layering" several projects. It actually seems to slow things down, and it definately causes more crashes. I found that it's best to avoid using Matrox presets on any Graffiti project. I have Graffiti 3, but this should still apply. Having said all that, when it works, it's awesome.

make sure you've got a large empty swap file, and be prepared to set up a graffiti move, save it, save the PPro project, exit and reopen PPro before you can render.Īlso. It only uses this for previewing anyhow, so not too much of a loss, but you need to turn it off in the Graffiti prefs. Boris say that it's conflicting with the rtx card. Once you're in graffiti, you can then hide the black background if you want. Instead, put a dummy clip of the right length onto the timeline first (say a piece of black video), then drag the effect onto this clip. Don't just drag the effect clip onto the timeline. Yes, I use graffiti with the rtx card and PPro 1.5.1. I hope that other users who have used Boris Graffitti could answer my question. We assume that there are some forum users who can help you out. Unfortunately, we did not test the Boris Graffiti with Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5. Has anyone here experienced a similar behavior? Every time that I drag and drop the 3rd Party effect onto the timeline, and then click on its properties icon in the Effects tab, technically that should open up Graffitti's GUI and let me make changes, but instead, it causes Premiere Pro to crash, and it just exits. I could not seem to be able to open up the Boris Graffitti GUI.
